Job Summary: To apply large amounts of protective coatings to concrete & steel structures that hold water & wastewater using specialized techniques, materials & equipment. To assist other workers in performing their duties working as a team and to recognize that your contribution is essential to TPC. Equipment Experience: Air assist king pump, Airless spray equipment, Brushes & rollers, Extreme pumps, Heavy duty spray rigs, Plural component rigs. Abrasive blasting with high pressure hoses/nozzles. Applying specialized coatings such as corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and understanding environmental regulations related to sandblasting and painting.

  • Subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions. May be subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 for periods of more than one hour. Subject to noise, to vibrations. Exposure to oscillating movements of the extremities or whole body, being exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, chemicals, etc. may be subject to atmospheric conditions, i.e., fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation, subject to oils. Air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids

Knowledge of various injection methods. Ability to assess and diagnosis cracks, prepare surfaces & select appropriate injection materials. Executing the injection process to ensure structural integrity and longevity.

You will lead a team of industrial painter/blasters and apprentices providing guidance, instruction and training on painting techniques, equipment operation and safety procedures in fresh water/wastewater treatment plants. Bilingual is a plus.

Establish resource requirements including materials, equipment and personnel needed for project duration. Maintain accurate records such as work performed, materials used. Communicates effectively with management to provide daily updates on project status and address any concerns. Monitor work progress and quality to ensure adherence to project spec and industry standards. Strong leadership & communication skills, with ability to motivate and engage team members. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and be detail-oriented with focus on quality. Strong knowledge of industrial coating applications, surface preparation & use of various equipment including spray guns, brushes, rollers, and plural rigs. Physical fitness & stamina to work in demanding conditions. Current Driver License & insurance.
